I know these little guys dont hurt anything but when I started I had about 6 -7, now I am starting to get over run with about 40 - 50.

The pic is of just 1 rock, there are 3 more like it.

Is this a problem?

no problem. they are actually neat little creatures and will grow ANYWHERE. i have 3 inside the tubing that runs out of my pump... explain to me how it ever got set up in there lol

harmless little guys. They do settle in the weirdest places...I had one IN my skimmer.

These are safe and will respond to the food in your system .. They are great little filter feeders ... As the food supply dwindles so will they

Sadielynn already said it but they are great filter feeders that will help to get rid of those excessive nutrients.
