Has anyone added Live Rock to an established tank?

Added 8 lbs of LR to my 55 gl tank.. I had my tank for 2 + 1/2 months, have successful growth if coral and fish. Water parameters are good and LR is cured and hope it doesn't throw my water parameters off. Has anyone added more LR to their tank?

Yes I have, my nitrates went up some but not high enough to harm anything. Keep a eye on parameters and if needed do a water change.

Yes, that is what I am expecting. I did a 10% change on Sat ( 3days ago) and wondering when I should do my next one. Looking to leave out if town this weekend.

I added some to mine, as long as you don't add a whole bunch at once... Maybe a new rock every couple of days it should not make much of a difference... I added quite a bit to mine, that was dry base rock ... I have a healthy 150 gallon and it didn't make much of a difference, short spike in nitrates but that was it.
