Don't feel bad if you do! Nanos can be just as amazing as big tanks. It just takes a lot more space planning inside the tank. Question: What lights are you using?

Nova extreme MH? I didn't know they had a Nova MH, I think it was the Sunpod or whatever.

Either way, 150w? This will be amazing if given the effort and time
 
The bulbs say T5 HO 24W I got it from a marine recruiter for a lionfish

You should look into getting coral, you can get small frags for pretty cheap that will eventually grow into big expensive corals haha. Might have to wait till after the little guy comes though (congrats!), every penny counts!
 
Once everything settles down a bit, start looking into soft coral. Not much needs to be done after it is added besides water changes and bulb changes. Zoanthids and shrooms are good starters.
