I blew one of my ballasts too and had to send it in. I didnt get it back for like a week, :? it was horrible. Luckily it was just the actinics. I still had my halide.

this morning I was late for work because my alarm didnt go off , lets hope that ended my bad luck streak.

Man I have had a bad week too. Two weeks ago I got rear ended buy Carquest delivery driver (all his fault) I dont have full coverage so Im having to deal with Carquest's insurance. My bf and I are sharing a car. I talked to the claim guy once the whole two weeks cause he doesn't want to talk to me. It is going to cost 2500 to get fixed. They are valuing my car at 4000, when blue book is 6500-8000. It is only about 10% from getting totaled. I haven't had a day off of school and work till today, so I'm tired. I missed 3 days of summer school cause I was rushing my female veiled chameleon back and fourth to the vet. She couldn't lay her eggs. The "main" vet was out of town and the newly graduated vet(who is an exotic vet) was the only one. After 4 days and 300 dollars later we decide to operate except this is the FIRST chameleon she has operated on. The next closest lizard vet was and hour and a half away except he is in mexico for 5 weeks so he isn't even there. There is a specialist lizard almost two hrs away, but it was going to cost about another 700-1000 bucks for surgery and post op. She said she would do the operation at cost, since I needed the money help and she had never done one before. Well she made it through surgery but died a few hrs later. Of course the vet calls at 7pm when I'm at a resturaunt. I start crying in there and we left. Now my favorite pet has passed away, Im really behind in chemistry class, I have a $600 bill and I have no car. I think i'm going to cry again.

Better than Vodka. sit down in front of you tank (OK, you can pour a vodka) and watch your fish for a while. All you stress will fade away.
The serenity works for me.

just spent an hour in front of my tank with a glass of wine. Its funny how I seem to look at my live rock more then my fish, I love those guys at liverocks.com
