My water has a yellow tint...what to do?

Ive been battling this yellowish tint in my water for about a 2 months , Ive tried kent marine reef carbon which works but seems to last only about a week and its back. Ive used a filter floss sponge and cleaned my canister filter once a week. I do a 10% water change every two weeks but about a 4 or 5 days later its back! :x I dont have much corals in my tank ( a colony of zoos, toadstool leather, carnation and a xenia) I need help and any suggestions welcomed. TIA

As far as I know running AC should help with that.
I'm sure someone else will pipe up too....

Try some Chemi-Pure, my water is sparkling clear since I added it.
