New tank

Hi all! ok so my hubby just bought me a new 400l tank, he has his own tank and I'm wondering what your thoughts are on sharing the water between the to to speed the cycling process up. Any input would be appreciated

What you need is some filter media from your husbands filter, water from his tank has very little/none of the bb you need to start a cycle on your tank.

Even with the filter media, I'd still toss an uncooked shrimp in.
