This would be the best option ^. We would ditch the wrasse, or maybe get a smaller one. How do you feel?

You get them both, I'd do them and clowns, nothing else... The kole belongs in atleast a 75g.

Ah, then nevermind. This will be the stock then

2 occerellis clownfish
1 Orange stripe prawn goby
1 Fairy wrasse
1 chalk bass
1 midas blenny
1 One spot foxface

Thanks guys! I like the mix we have with the comical clown pair, and really active wrasse/bass, the lazy buy cool goby and shrimp, then the beautiful fox and midas!

Thanks man!! This is great, im excited to get home and test!

What do you guys think is cooler? The kole tang or the one spot foxface?? They are both awesome...

It's a toss up, the tang is my personal favourite but with the fox face it's more colorful not to mention VENOMOUS. That is sure to impress your buddies. The issue with the tang is their weakness to ich. My buddy has a fox face and it's pretty sweet and active. Did I mention their venomous? Ultimately it's your tank so your choice.

Love my Kole, sunset orangish pectorals, cool lines, and a devout utilitarian. Does nothing but roam and scrape, roam and scrape. Can't beat them IMO. Plus... Hawaiian too. I've got mine with a yellow tang and thinking really hard about a Potters angel. Kinda goin for a Hawaiian endemic species tank, majority at least, don't know if the Copperband is found there but oh well.
Honestly never liked the foxface, don't know why exactly, just don't. Never had one and prob never will.
Saw a chalk bass today, thought of you guys!!

Wow you guys have good opinions i need to make a chart....
FOXFACE
PROS: less active, can keep until max size, will do better in a small tank, more colorful (if healthy), venemous, not likely to get ich.

CONS: venemous, can be agressive, eats clams, get quite large, not as active as the tang.

KOLE TANG
PROS: beautiful, active, will be paid for by my friend, easy to find, easy to feed.

CONS: not suited for my tank at full size, ich, can be agressive, wont keep forever, too active.

As you can see i like the fish to be very active, just not too active for my smaller tank. Venemous is awesome until i get stung!! Lol ;) hundred bucks says my dad names the foxface bone crusher.

Chalk bass rule ;) thanks for thinkin of us! Haha

My foxface was the tank escort. Had everyone out. Use to have to push my tang out of the rocks. Don't worry about them being venomous. Only way ur getting stung is if u try to grab him. And you know how my battles with ich have gone... Idk, I think your giving a great fish cons that don't exists... Ime...

Ok. Your first con for the tang should make your decision for you. Your tank isn't big enough for a fish that gets Ich when stressed (due to small tanks, agitation, being bullied, not enough seaweed in its diet, etc). That's just my $.02

Ya i am just being objective, non biased. In my opinion there really are no cons at all because i dont want a clam (too expensive), i am not scared of getting stung, and it is still very active.

But i cant just write nothing under the cons list because then people will say thats wrong because some people really dont want to get stung, or really want a clam.

Edit, ^^^ is about the foxface

Ya i know what you mean, but with this whole tang thing we are only thinking about a small one and returning it when it grows bigger, which i hear takes a while. On the list i said full size

Ok. Just keep in mind that the smaller the tang the more Ich probe they are due to their immune systems not being fully developed.
I'm not trying to say don't get it- ultimately it's your choice. Just some things to consider

I have both in a 75 and would be tough to make me chose. Love them both. I think the tank size is the only reason not to have them both. Both are awesome fish!
