Skimmer issue overflow making me go crazy

So I have a bubble magus curve 5 skimmer and it constantly over flows regardless of water level or adjustment to the flow. It's really driving me crazy. If I take water out it doesn't foam high enough if I put water in it over flows it insane there is no sweet spot it has been turned on for over a week and all its done is made a huge mess every day. I stare at it for hrs making adjustments and it just won't cooperate. Any suggestions would be more than appreciated.
