About to get a 20g any ideas to stock with?

So after cycled... one example would be:
8 Norman Lampeye Killifish, 8 Dwarf Emerald Rasbora and either a Bolivian Ram or Apistogramma Borelli. It would be very pretty with colors and motion. Should be planted.
Another option could be:
2 German Blue Ram, 6 Cardinal Tetra and 6 rummynose tetra.
Just some ideas.

I would love a planted tank but I have no idea how to care for them. I would have to look into that. And I plan for this 20g to do a fishless cycle. I would love a carpeted tank what would work for that?

Dwarf sagittaria is an easy-to-care-for plant that spreads nicely.
