Hi guys.

So we do lovely water changes with the biorb Syphon coming out, but getting new water in again is just horrendous. New water is higher than tank, but I'm pumping and pumping (I can't feel my hand as we type) but if I'm lucky I get a dribble.

I'm either doing it wrong, there's a secret knack I clearly don't know about, or the biorb Syphon is rubbish.

If anyone has any tips I'd be so happy. I'm currently putting the new water in with a jug, which disturbs the media and just creates mess floating around the tank until the filter runs.

Thanks in advance.

you get the water out fine, right? and when you try to put the new water in do you turn the siphon around? a lot of siphons have 1-way valves so the water will only flow in one direction
