Cycling 10g - a few questions

Hi, lately I started cycling a 10g with the shrimp method. The shrimp was fairly large (5cm) and after a week it has not yet completely decomposed. I tested for nitrites and got ~3.3mg/L (hagen test). Shall I take out the shrimp or leave it there?

Just leave it in. It is feeding the cycle.
