Is this a good start to a fishless cycle? The tanks been running for about 4 days only and it has a bio bag from a tank that's been torn down awhile ago. There's a couple of plants also

It's coming along.

I wouldn't raise ammonia above 4ppm though. After reading some thing it's better at 2-3ppm.

Hi Trainer Ruby:

It's fine for day 4. Keep monitoring; you should get your nitrite spike soon if all goes well. After that, watch for nitrates to go up and nitrite and ammonia to go down. What are you using as your ammonia source?

For ammonia I use decaying plant leaves from my Amazon swords and fish food
