Fairly large fish for 25 gal?

I have a 25 gal with 6 neons and a Java fern! I have had it up for 3 weeks and I want to add new fish! Even if I don't add fish yet, what fairly large passive fish could i add? I want like a mix, some small fish(which I already have neons) some medium fish one or two large fish and another schooling fish (preferably tight schooler that aren't as small as neons)! What fish could i add now, and when would I add the rest?

A single Pearl Gourami might fit. They are the most peaceful of the bigger Gouramis. But they do get 4" , 30g is recommended minimum. So I think as I said on your other thread, a single Dwarf Gourami or a Honey Gourami might work better.
