My dad has well water. What can we do to make it safe for fish? Anyone know? Thank you :)

Does your dad drink the water? If so, I am assuming he has it tested regularly to assure its safety? I would bring over your test kit and start with basics (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph, gh/kh if you have these). I would then review the water reports for anything that may be of a concern such as excess copper, arsenic and/or other contaminants. This will give you a better idea of his water quality and if there is anything of concern that may affect fish that needs to be addressed. :)

+1. Also I would ask him if the quality changes over the seasons. We used to find our bore was more salty (you could just taste it) towards the end of summer when there had been no rain.
