Prime and biospira at the same time?

I just came back from the LFS with biospira and prime(since most people here swear by it) to try and fix my ammonia problems. After I do a 50% water change can I add both, or do I have to wait to add the biospira?

prime works pretty much instantly.. so I wouldnt think you would have to wait.
