Hi
I noticed that both of my clownfish will poop white strands, but other times it will be normal poop. Usually white poo is parasites, but I'm not sure what it means if it only happens occasionally. I've had these clowns for about a year, and they are mainly eating NLS. I've heard a diet of mainly one food can cause it, but could it be caused by feeding only NLS?
I'm not sure if I should just leave them alone, or if I should take action on it. They've both been dewormed when I qt'd them last year and no other fish have white poop.
Oh, also my other fish will eat the clowns poop when the poop white sometimes, and even after they eat the white poop, they still never get parasites. That's why I don't think it is parasites...
Thanks!
