Lionfish jumpers?

Well I never knew that lionfish were jumpers. My lion jumped out of my tank lastnight. I checked my water yesterday and all was good.
 
Wow, never heard that before. Mine will lunge out of the water for food but, has never bailed. Is your lion ok?
 
Lion fish can be jumpers, usually if some thing startles them. What type of lion?

If this was at night and some thing scared them even you walking by the tank can do this at night.

I had a dwarf jump once at night, it died also. I found after that they can be jumpers when spooked. I have seen one jump when netting it and the guy almost caught it be fore it hit the floor.....LOL I was just thinking "What are you doing?...lol
I have 2 more dwarfs, 3 volitans & a zebra but none of those have jumped on me.

Yes they are in a 300 gallon, the zebra is in the sump because I am trying to switch it to frozen before it goes in the main tank.
