Betta Fish

I've had my Betta fish for about 2 1/2 years now and this thing appeared on it, not sure if anyone knows what it is I have tried to google it! It also keeps getting bigger my guess is a Tumour!

I can't see it too clearly, but look up Anchor worms, Gill flukes. See if anything looks like it?

I google both of those and it dose not look like either in person! It so weird I can not find anything online any where of what it may be!

I just came across Lymphocytis last night only thing I don't get it's only in one spot and I was reading online and it said it can be from "bad water quality and/or poor nutrition" when I've always given him good food and regular aquarium maintenance!

It is viral and can be from stress, who can really say what causes a Betta stress, if there isn't anything specific you can think of. Roof repair noise, visiting kids/ dog/ people. Water temp not quite what it was expecting, etc?????
