Bloated Garra Gotyla

He is extremely fat today and breathing rapidly.
Was fine 2 days ago, didn't see him at all yesterday which I thought was strange.
He is swimming around again, but not his darting and foraging self.
Seems to "bounce' while swimming, short bursts before stopping to rest.

I haven't over fed them, actually this past week I've fed that tank less.

What do you think this is?

Immediate treatment required? What's the best treament? I have bottles of Melafix antibacterial and parasitic.

Is rapid breathing associated with dropsy?
It resembles dropsy but when I've treated fish with it before, they didn't have increased breathing.
I can't find any information of Garra species and this disease.


Are garras susceptable to dropsy? How quickly does dropsy become fatal? Should I even medicate him at this point, he's been sitting on the same rock for a few hours.

What other diseases could cause bloating like this?

It could be bloat from constipation, internal parasites or an infection. I don't know anything about those fish so that's as much as I can help sorry.
