how to feed peas to tiny fish

My platy over-ate again and I'd like to try feeding her peas. I know yu are supposed to cook them and take the skin off but then how dow you break the insides of the pea into small enough pieces for a 1" platy (and any one else who wants to grab a bite)?

After thawing and shelling just use a knife and cut them into tiny pieces

So do you NOT need to cook them?

I cook and cool, remove the shell. Put in the tank you can crush them (very easy) or whole. I have found that crushing some while leaving some whole has worked great.

I put 5 pieces in the microwave for 7 seconds. My fish love them!
