Melafix question

Hey guys, I'm treating my new convict with Melafix after my other convict munched on her tail. I've got 2 days left of treatment after today, but I'm going out of town until Sunday. Would it be better to skip Saturday's treatment altogether, or double dose today, or double dose Sunday? PWC is scheduled for Monday regardless. Any thoughts? TIA

i wouldn't double dose. melafix isn't really a 'medication'...more like a cleanser...or an astringent. it helps keep wounds clean so they don't get infected, and can heal properly.

I'd just skip it, or add a little right before you leave, and then add your last dose sunday.

Well, I've already added today's dose, so I'll just skip Saturday's and get her again on Sunday. Thanks!
