So after my shower yesterday I went to oogle my aquarium and found a small (1 inch) clear worm. As soon as I got closer to the glass it scurried into a hole in the live rock and hasn't surfaced again. It was too quick to get a camera. My concern is he was right next my zoas and I am unsure if he was eatting algae next to my zoas or my zoas.

More than likely was looking for detritus. I dont know of algae eating worms, and seems unlikely to be looking for zoas either. Just keep an eye on the zoas if he hangs out on them. Usually, worms are beneficial. I dont know of anyone here that had an example of a bad one. Keep trying to get a picture though just in case!

I have translucent worms in my sand bed that pull sand together looking for detritus...
