I found this white thing underneath my Green Star Polyps. At first I thought this was the left over when my shrimp was molting, but after the molt was gone, this was still on my LR. Do you know if this is harmful or harmless? Should I just leave it be?

Please help. Thanks

Just some kind of harmless sponge. I have them in my tank but they are yellow. They are good filter feeders.

No problem, they tend to like less light and come and go.

I agree sponge I have them in purple and yellow :D cool little critters .. I even have them in my filter box !

Google for Clathrina coriacea, Gelloides fibulatus for comparison . i think former but you can make better comparison. Will tend to grow/spread faster with good water movements (indirect, of course).
Loves Reefing for such diversity of lifeforms that pops out of nowhere!

Enjoy!

Yes, but what's that white stuff under that..........................????
