orange growth on my LR...coral?

can anyone identify this for me? its on my LR that i just got today from Liverocks.com (i am so pleased the rock is awesome and has so much stuff on it!) it moves too. it kinda sucks into the rock a bit when i walk by the tank. TIA!

how bout now? its pretty big, well, bigger than the other little things growing. its about an inch from bottom to top.

What I mean is sponges don't have photosensitive parts, last I checked.

well whatever it is, it "squishes" back when i shine the flash light on it

I think that is some kind of tunicate. Whatever it is...I've got plenty of them and they are nice to have. You're looking at two individuals...or a colony of two individuals. Each has distinct "in" and "out" vents.

..but they could also be sponges. I'm no expert on here.

ahhh a tunicate! (not that i have a clue what that is yet ) but ill do research. its definately that because it does retract and it does have two "vents" as you said. i'm rather fond of them! thanks a ton!
