Hi,

My wife bought me a couple of corals and fish for BDay and I need to identify so I know where to best position and care for them...... Also there is a picture of a puffer fish that I also need to identify.....

Any help would be appreciated....

Not sure what the top left is but the puffer llooks like (Canthigaster bennetti) a sharp nose puffer and the bottom right looks like some type of zoas

First pic is some duncans, puffer looks like some sort of toby puffer, and the last picture looks like either goniopora or alveopora

Agreed, duncans, blue spot toby, goniopora.

As a warning, that puffer can eat any inverts you have in the tank, I wouldn't be surprised if he was munching (or trying to) on lps or sps either.

Thanks all for your assistance...it helped alot, it's always the most important thing to know what your dealing with....especially when received as a gift.

The puffer is only small at this stage and he hasn't been munching any inverts yet, hopefully I can keep him well fed but I will definitely keep an eye on him & evict him if he does wrong...

Thanks again
