My beautiful 38 gallon planted African Cichlid tank

I newly redecorated my tank with some driftwood that I found while camping and wanted to get your opinions on how it looks. The Driftwood is mostly pine and fir that I found in a riverbed near where I was camping. The plants that I have are mostly anubias though I'm trying to get some java ferns to grow on the driftwood. I want to add some corkscrew vallisnerias but I'm not sure if they're compatible with my cichlids. The moss that I have on that spiky looking piece of driftwood is some that I found growing on a rock in the river. It doesn't seem to be doing too well. I'll probably remove it if it gets any browner.

I'm no expert on driftwood, but I thnk a lot of coniferous trees has turpentine in the sap. Maybe keep an extra eye on the lookout for problems.
Looks nice though. I'm thinking of setting up an African chiclid tank in the next few months and am always grateful for ideas and inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

Is that bamboo if so the leaves need to be out of the water due it doesn't grow underwater and can be toxic if a fish nibbles on the leaves
