I have one of those. Also known as "featherfin or Lace" catfish. I got her at 1/2". Now is 6". Grew in about 10 months.......

My 5.5" Hoplo catfish. Picked him up as a rescue about two years ago. He is easily the most active fish in my tank.

I was guessing on his size, I had a chance to measure him last night and he's actually a little over 6.5", he's a beast (y)
 
AWESOME. Always wanted one of these but don't know how to take care of them. Or their needs/care

Sweet banjo .

We have been looking for more banjos for many years and final found some at a LFS ( 3 hour drive?) and bought 5. We have 2 in our 55 that are around 10 yrs old . They don't move a lot at day but when you see them out and about they are a really neat fish.
