DIY Moon Light
Has anyone built a moon light for a 55g freshwater tank? I recently purchased a moon light online but it only illuminates 20% of the tank. I really would like to build one to keep from spending $60 to buy 4 more.

Malkore, Thanks a million. I think your tank looks great. I am going to use the additional moon lights on a freshwater tank. I hope it doesn't bother the fish. I thinks it looks cool at night when the normal tank lights go out.

My only comment, is i think 2 of htese units is too much for my size tank. I'm planning on removing one of them. I may put the other onto my 75gallon, but I'd need another [acronym:ea1b4f3444="Activated Carbon"]AC[/acronym:ea1b4f3444] adapter.

Try this link this is where i got the plans for my 90gal you could just modify it for your tank. They work great. I just have to re mount them into my new fixture.

easyian, I tried to fix your link since the definition pop-ups were sort of breaking the last half of the link.
