Reminds me, before I got my python, I would sometimes start the siphon with my mouth. Blech!

It's just like lake water, I've taken big gulps of it when I fall while skiing. It's good for you right?

I still start my siphon with my mouth if I can't get it started. Just don't tell my fiance that

I have a siphon that has a pump on the end, lucky me! Don't have enough tanks for a python to be practical, not yet anyways

i always start the syphin that way to lol. i have never gotten water in my mouth though. it doesnt take much suck to get it going. and i have seen a 14" oscar poop. my friend had 2 of them lol.
