Question

So when I was starting my siphon for acclimating my new shrimp, I got some saltwater in my mouth. This may sound silly, but can I get sick or anything if there is ich in my tank?

It is possible, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. It happens all the time.

Liken it to getting some ocean water or lake water in your mouth while swimming.
