what bulbs should i use?

ok i built a new 4x 24" t8 light fixture to go over my my 20 gallon tank. i dont want to spend 15 dollars a bulb at the lfs so i was wondering what bulbs that lowes or homedepot carries that i could use. i have seen the plant and aquarium bulb before and the natural daylight bulbs but what other ones can i get? i have a 18" powerglo bulb right now as well as a plantgro bulb and i love the colour i get from them (espicially the blue from the powerglo) but is there a less expensive version of this bulbs? tia

please search the forums. there's a couple active threads going on already that address the exact same issue. might even be some info in the lighting sticky.

but yes, there are many bulbs in the 'under $10' range at hardware stores that'll work fine.
