I've been looking for one of these for a couple months now, and the price was right, so I had to get it. Its only been in the tank for a couple hours now, and its already out and about.

That is a way cool fish!! I am assuming it is reefsafe? It looks quite similar to a hogfish (a member of the wrasse family) or is it a regular wrasse.

It does look like the hogs, but it stays quite small (around 2 inches max) and is completely reefsafe and very passive The first one I attempted to get died in transit, so I was very excited to find this one.

I was curious and did a quick search this is what I came up with

Pygmy Possum Wrasse
Wetmorella triocellata

This seldom seen genus consists of only a few members that have evaded aquarium collection until only recenty. Average size is about 1"-2". These are ideal reef aquarium fish that have proven to be quite hardy and easy to care for.
