Blue hippo concern

Have a small/medium size blue hippo tang . And when I first got him he seemed to be doing great . But the second day He has stayed hidden . He still feeds but idk what to do . Water is great . He doesn't look sick .no ich !

What is the size of the tank? What are the tank mates?

55 gal , I only have a clown in the tank

A 55g is too small a tank for a blue tang. These fish, probably more so than any other, are very susceptible to ich. Blue tangs stress very easily and need a good 6ft+ tank. Best bet is to return him to your LFS and get something that will do well for your tank size.

Yup. Sorry, thats way too small. 125+. My old naso took 2 weeks to come out.

Good choice. If you really like tangs I would recommend a dwarf angel. Toucan keep them and they're tang like.
