I noticed some of my hermit crabs picking on my emerald crab. At first I just thought that the crab died, but then I thought about it. Maybe the crab shed his shell. I will have to look out for the crab to see if I see him crawling around. Will someone let me know if I am correct? I hope that is what it is. Thanks!

Yup, all crabs moult in order to grow. You probably won't see him for a couple of days as they hide while the shell hardens totally.

Hope you find the guy.

I agree and I hope you see him later on.
