need suggestions

Hi all. I have been doing salt water now for 2 months. I started out with a 25 gallon tank and after cycle finished and over a period of a month I put in 4 blue green chromis, a clown, some hermit crabs, and a cleaner shrimp. Now I have up graded to a 40 gallon bow front and now I am asking for suggestions as to what now I can add. Way down the road I am going to try my hand at some coral after I upgrade my lights. If you have any suggestions as to what I can add, suggestions would be appreciated. I would like to have something with color.

Maybe you could get a dwarf lion fish

40 may well be too small for dwarf lion plus you may find its a risk with your clowns etc. maybe at a couple of a cherub angle fish, some sort of goby, firefish, jawfish, emerald crab, serpent sea star, 6 line wrasee.

or a toby puffer but your shrimp and crabs may be at risk even though I have personally kept a veletini with a few shrimps
