i just purchased a neon dottyback yesterday and ever since hes been in the tank he has heavy breathing, but he is active swimming in and out of his cave and i got him to eat as well i am really stumped to why he is breathing so heavily. i did notice that whenever i wasnt in the room i would find him at differant parts of the tank but when i am at my desk because my tank is in my room on top of my desk he stays in his cave for pretty much of the time. do you think he just breathes heavy when i am around the tank because he hasnt gotten adjusted to me yet?
