White hair algae is driving me nuts!

I have been seeing an increase in "white hair" growing all over my LR. I am unsure as to what it really is, my internet searches have come up with confusing information. I use ONLY rodi water within the tank, as well as frequent water changes. Some one please.enlighten me on what yo do! I miss my pretty tank!

Are you dosing any organic carbon? It could be bacterial colonies.....

Crister....I am not quite sure as to what you mean. What does "dosing carbon" mean? I have a 3 stage canister filter and am using carbon as my chemical filtration. I will post my params soon. But I am sure they are perfect as they very rarely fluctuate.
