I have an aquarium and keep bettas and they always get sick one currently has cotton and I'm treating him. Any tips?

Do you keep the betta in a heated/filtered tank? And for certain cases, aquarium or kosher salt works (I have used it to cure fin rot). Also stress coat helps fins to grow back if they were damaged.

I actually have no idea. Treat him for as long as the medication says and you should be fine.

Oh and don't forget to remove the carbon from the filter!

Sorry to hear that, what medication are you using? And as Nat said, make sure you aren't using carbon as it will just remove the medicine.
