Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hi, I'm a new fish hobbyist who as of 11/28/11 has a 36g fresh water tank. I cycled my tank with 2 Gourami's (kissing fish) and a Bala Shark. I have since added 2 Striped Peacock Eels, 2 more Gourami's, and 2 Leopard Skin Discus.
I have recently had an ich outbreak. 2 of the smallest Gourami's have the worst case. I have been doing frequent water changes and treating with QuickCure. I removed the carbon from my filters and turned up the heat in the tank. Water test has been good, slight spike I ammonia content. Keeping my fingers crossed and diligently watching the tank for changes.
Open to suggestions on maintaining a safe and fun tank.

! Unfortunately, I believe that your Bala Shark will need a bigger tank. Liveaquaria says 70 gallons.
