I have this 29 gal tank by Marineland that I am going to make a mix community tank. I can't understand why, but the flourescent light fixture keeps burning out, or the contacts get bad and it flickers non-stop. (Always one bulb). Then Marineland sends me a new light fixture. They are mailing me a second fixture. In the mail today, but I was wondering if anyone here has one of these and if they have had the same issues. I was thinking of junking the whole filter/light fixture and changing to something traditional/standard.
Like the way it sits close to the wall though.
Anyone have any fix-it tips for this? Replace ballast(s) or??? Set fire...out the window??
