Aquarium Advice FINatic
I've had my current light fixture for way too long and I'm looking to replace it. I have a 29 gallon tank, 30x12x18", with a 24" dual lamp T5 HO Aquatic Life light. I think it's been discontinued because I can't buy it anywhere...here's a link to it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00780S5I4/homepro0a-20
It's weird because I measure my tank at 30" long but the 24" light fixture fits perfectly and a 30" light I bought is too big. Am I being dumb and missing something here? Do they measure by length of the bulbs and not the housing unit?
Anyway, does anyone have a good recommendation for a T5HO light fixture for a 29 gallon? I have low maintenance plants, anubias and water sprite.
Thanks!
