It should do the job but remember that 50g per day is in perfect conditions (like 70-80 PSI pressure behind it and OK water to start). So, that 50gpd may only actually produce 30-35gpd in the real world.

From what I've read that is one of the good venders on ebay so it should be a good buy.

As of right now I just have a 29 gallon SW tank so my need for water isn't immense, but I will be going to a 55 gallon soon so I figure why not buy it while I have the cash LOL

I would spend the extra 5.00 and get the 100gph filter.

Just a reminder, but research what the replacement filters will cost. You might get a good deal on the unit but if the filter media has a short life and are exspensive to replace, it may not be that good of a deal in the long run.

Thanks so very much for all the input. I think i am leaning towards the ebay one with 100gpd. Still have 19 days before auction end so I have some time.
