I have to give props to marineland. I have an older version of the reef capable led light. Recently I noticed that the switch wouldn't work to turn on just the blue lights. This light is not new. In fact it's probably close to 6 years old.

After calling marineland and spending no more than 3 minutes on the phone, they sent a brand new replacement fixture. Not the old version, but the new one with the timer.

Say what you may, that's good customer service!!!

That's pretty impressive.

I have a similar story: About 8 years ago, Hagen briefly had an Aquaclear foam supplier mishap. The foam inserts were not made of proper reticulated foam, but some kind of kitchen sponge type material. Water did not flow through it properly. Furthermore, it smelled extremely toxic when in contact with water.

I contacted Hagen with my complaint. They sent me:

a JUG of water conditioner
couple of small containers of cycle
1 of pretty much every kind of nutrafin food
3 pack of the proper aquaclear foam

I was pretty pleased.
