As far as type, I really like the ATI Aquablue Specials, for a white bulb. In combination with the Aqyablue Plus and the Actinic, for blue-light bulbs.
This combo gives you a nice 12,000-14,000k bluish overall appearance, with good fluorescence of coral colors under just the blues.
