I was at petco yesterday and saw a t5 HO fixture for 75$. It was called "zoomed aquasun double light" it was made to hold 2 24 watt t5 lamps... I was wondering if this on a 29 gallon tank would support softies and maybe Lps. It would come out to about 2 watts per gallon.
Thanks:)

IMO it`s going to be awful close. I would suggest more lighting esp. a T5HO system. At 24 watts I dont think that is an HO system.

It's 48 watts in all because it has two 24 watt lamps.

How deep is your tank? You might get away with things like mushrooms and low light corals.
