I have a pair of Kribs in my 29 who are on their 3rd batch of fry. I live in a small town with no LFS and I have to drive at least 2 hours to get to the nearest good one. I love the fish but I don't have the room or the ability to re-home all the fry (I have made arrangements for those I have when they are big enough, but I really don't need any more babies!) I am about to get a new tank and I was wondering if I could separate the male and female in different tanks with peaceful community fish without a problem?

As long as you take them into account when stocking both tanks, yes.

Wonderful! Thanks! I am leaning toward some tetras and I would like cories or kuhli loaches but I am not sure about compatibility. I know not to have them with a breeding pair, but would the bottom dwellers be ok with a single Krib?

I think a single krib with tetra and cories or kuhlis would work out great.
