Exclamation Platy fry missing!

I managed to save 17 platy fry and had them in a net box in my main tank 6 are missing?. What could have happened to them im sure they cannot fit through the net and they are in there alone

Their siblings might have decided to play survival of the fittest and those ones lost it is sad, but larger fry will eat their siblings.

If any passed away overnight they will also eat their deceased siblings.

Another option is that a hole in your net/ breeder box exists.

Also, with platy fry, they can be in the main platy tank soon as they are about 3/4 of an inch long. I have also just left my platy fry to fend for themselves. They are tough little buggers.
