ha thanks. ive moved some of the right side around after those pictures. its still a mystery where the water went. if it was evaporation, it would have raised my salinity, not lowered it. who knows.
 
got my salinity back to where it needs to be. i took a trip to st louis to pick up sweety pie from the air port when i got back i just had an acceptable days worth of evaporation.

Ehhhhhh. Lost white cheek. Naso is still holding though. I'm a little worried though cause I don't think I caught it in time. May have to pull all the fish out of my DT. AHHHHHHHH!!! Salinity in the DT is good now. Water parameter are all good. Lets just say if I ever have to switch tanks again - the only thing I will let other people do is move the heavy stuff! I'll do the rest. That way I know it's done right. :(.
 
sorry to hear that. glad your water is right now. and thats a daunting task to catch fish in that big of tank. dont know how you caught the two you did.
 
i need to start reseeding pods for my tank. i think i lost alot of them when i redid my tank. are some brands better than others? are some types of pods better than others for mandarins?
 
I have to laugh when you guys think 2 cups a week is bad when I brought the 175g online it was going though 5g every 2 or 3 days now it's down to about 5g a week

i dont know if its a terrible evaporation rate but to keep it up, i have to top off twice a day. i put the glass top back on in hopes that it will help slow it. still dont like how much light it blocks out, and dont know if i can still get away with only running a 4 bulb t5ho light

i dont watch a whole lot of news, have you guys had snow yet? sweety pie was on vaca in delaware and philly last week and said it was snowing the last day or two.

Had snow last week, lasted a day, suppose to snow Wednesday and Saturday this week.
