Well, I did go to the LFS and got some Aptasia X. I found a beautiful Derasa, BUT, unfortunately for the clam, the LFS had some of the fish, they don't normally carry, along with a ton of awesome corals, and inverts. Fuzzy Racing abolone, really? Too cool.

Anyway, I ended up working on my stocking list. I got a McCosker's Flasher wrasse, and a purple firefish - both of these fish haven't been stocked in months.

The wrasse was VERY stressed and didn't look too good in the bag, so the LFS folks told me that if he didn't pull through within the next week they will "warranty" the fish.

That being said, I'm heading back probably tomorrow to get the clam. LOL.

It was really good looking. They had a 7" Derasa that was kinda boring looking, and a 3" that was awesome for $50.

Pics soon of the fishies, once they come out of hiding, and more of the Clam when I get it.

Well, I went to work for a bit, and when I came back the actinics were already off and the lunars are on. Not much luck getting a pic.

The firefish however is hanging out in the front and center, which is great, BUT, I can't seem to locate the Flasher wrasse.

I'm not too worried just yet, because I know that he is a hider anyway, and I haven't seen the CUC all at a dead sprint for a free meal. I hope by morning, he'll be more adjusted and coming around.

Pics in the a.m.

Also, my LFS had tons of great corals today, way more than normal. So here's a list of the ones that I'm planning to get.

Frogspawn - 6"
Torch - 2"
Long tentacle orange plate
Colt coral
Pinkish Birdsnest (if my t5's are enough)
Another miscellaneous White polyped something... :)

Of course the last Livestock for the tank are:

Midas Blenny
Derasa Clam

Thanks guys, looks even better when he flashes... He scared the firefish to the back of the tank, but I assure you she is stunning!

I put it on an oyster shell, based on a recommendation, but can I just put him on the sandbed?

So how do you like that rodi system I have one but I think I has to much waste water so I am looking into another one

The cheaper systems usually have a higher waste output than the expensive systems that have booster pumps like my vertex unit that runs about 1:1 but it will set you back about $350 CAD. But the convince of having ro/di plumbed throughout the house is unbeatable hehe.
