Well I haven't touched my media just did really good sand cleanings. Hopefully I'll be ok but thanks for adding that. I'll keep my eyes open.

Never had any babies except convicts. Also, those were the only time I had more than a single of a species until now. I couldn't keep them from breeding all the time! So, I'm a newb at this part! I never had Labs until about a month ago, any tips? I am gonna get a fry tank tomorrow so I will have it ready. New adventure for me!

You can leave her in there as long as the male isn't harassing her. If so then take her out and keep her in the other tank until she spits.

I've never stripped a cichlid before so I'd be of no help there. The babies I did I have I haut left in the main tank. It's too scaped to try and fight my way through there.

He is harassing her a lot right now. Gonna keep an eye on them. Make a judgement call. Never set out to breed, but might be fun to raise some babies!

All is good. No spots on any fish, 50% water change last night. Added salt for water added and added salt this morning. Temp is 86.2. When do its clear to stop with the high heat and salt?

No spots for 2 days. Fish that had spots are clear.

To be safe, I treated 7 days after last spot, just in case there were 2 life cycles.... hope that helps

Nothing to report. No spots on ANY fish and no losses. Water change yesterday and a MASSIVE water change tomorrow then back to normal!!
